The Glow Plugs are fed through a GP indicator which you should seeing glowing as they heat during the pre heat cycle. The indicator drops the voltage down from 12 volts. After changing batteries, going through starter, checking cables, trouble shooting wiring the problem turned out to be the HST peddle safety switch. Made good enough contact to pass enough current to only momentarily engage the starter solenoid.You only have to loosen the banjo bolt 1/2 a turn or so to open the drain port and. manually pump fuel through it to bleed the air out of the fuel lines.
